This business started as a dream in 2007 when I was living on Lake Michigan. I was the Sales Director at a family-owned rental property that offered events and weddings, and I decided that I wanted to create a new life for myself in the Virgin Islands. I moved to St. Thomas, and Heart & Soul Unions was born. My goal was to do weddings that were as unusual and unique as the couples themselves. No cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all programs. I’m proud to say that what makes my team and I special is our ability to be calm, kind, reassuring, attentive, easy to work with, and professional.

Originally from Knoxville, Christa started coming to the Virgin Islands as a professional touring jazz musician. She quickly fell in love with the Caribbean lifestyle and moved to St. Thomas in 2012. She began working with us in 2015 and has discovered great joy in event planning and professional organizing. She brings her creative touch to everything she does. Christa continues to play music and also practice her horticulture degree as a tropical orchid enthusiast.
